James

so for homegroup we're reading James and learning a couple of verses

James is such a fantastic book of the Bible .... but it is a bit scary cos as I pour through the verses and chapters I realise how far short I fall from God's standards.

Reading it effected me. I prayed before I went to work and asked God to help me throughout my day - I think my day went better cos I made a real effort to be positive in all my conversations and to be patient when dealing with people shorter than myself.

It has been a good day.

When I first got serious about God Nigel told me to read James. So, I did. Now if anyone says to me "where should I start" I always say "start with James, it's a great book".

You usually get impatient with short people?

well sometimes in the immediate location in which i work the short people can all talk at once and want my attention at once - this can be a little trying on my patience!! But I have learned to just smile and remind said people they must learn to wait their turn. ;)

I was trying to work out the short people thing (and starting to feel a bit worried seeing as I am 5ft nothing) but NOW I get it! Cool!

James is amazing! Love it!
